Dear Josai; I'm a long lost exchange student of Josai Univeristy High school (1983-1984). I've always wanted to bring my family to the place I attended, and played volleyball. The experience was very positive and educational, eventhough, Mr. Ichkai Sensai had many long talks with me regarding my outburst in class. I'm not a serious person, and I found some of the teachers funny...when they were not!, and of course I laughed. None-the-less, if you can forward my email to anyone who may remember me, I would appreciate it. Love & Sincerty, Leisa (Ecker) Barnum d_barnum@msn.com 805.419.4569

I believe that God reveals Himself in this story. If the dog can be so loyal then the Creator can even more so... I see Jesus in this story.

Such A depressing story and I too will visit the statue one day. You were not only a good dog, but a loyal and faithful one.

The men's bath is separated from the ladies' section with a partition; instead of a typical ppicture of Mt.Fuji or some other landscape, there is an image of she-mermaids, boasting quite impressive busts :) - so I wonder what's painted on the ladies' side of the wall :)
